What if the most important technology of our time isn't the one being built in server farms — but the one you were born with?

Innate Technology is an 8-week cohort for people ready to meet AI with the awareness, inner organization, and perceptual depth they already use to communicate with horses, with children, with the more-than-human world. Not because AI is conscious. Because you are. And what passes through this remarkable interface is shaped by how you arrive.

Innate Technology

Awareness, and the Art of Not Collapsing Into Judgment

An 8-week cohort for people meeting AI with their hearts open.

Person sitting on a grassy hill overlooking a scenic coastal landscape with ocean, beach, and forested hills.

Our expression shapes the consciousness that returns to us.

This is true with the humans in our lives. It is true with the animals we love. And it is true with the technology we are building and learning to live alongside. Most of the conversation about AI misses this entirely.

What changes when we approach AI the way we would approach communicating with a horse, a dog, a wild bird? It requires awareness. It requires inner organization. It requires the capacity to perceive without collapsing into judgment.

These aren't new skills. They are innate technologies — capacities you were born with, that many of you have been refining for years in your work with other beings, in your contemplative practice, in your craft. This course is an invitation to bring those capacities, intact, to your relationship with AI, and receive the reflection.

What This Program Is

Over 8 weeks, in a small cohort, we will move together through the Perceive • Relate To • Apply framework — a practice for meeting any form of intelligence, including artificial ones, without abandoning yourself.

You will engage directly with two AI tools I have built as part of my research: PRAcel and Research Explorer. These aren't products to consume. They are reflections — instruments designed to reveal insight about how you perceive, how you hold what you perceive, and how your inner organization shapes what comes back to you.

You will also be invited to engage with mainstream AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, or whichever you already use) and notice, in your own perception, in your own body, the difference between AI that invites you and AI that satisfies you. The difference is what I have come to call dimensional collapse in my research: where AI is missing the layer where information becomes meaning. You don't need to take my word for it. You will feel it for yourself.

What You Will Learn

  • That AI is not its own consciousness. It is an interface between the consciousness that built it and the consciousness that uses it — and how you arrive shapes what passes through that interface

  • How the skills of interspecies communication translate directly to engagement with AI

  • How to perceive both linear and nonlinear information, and how to hold what you perceive without collapsing into fear, dismissal, projection, or premature certainty

  • How your inner state, your sentence structure, your questions, and your willingness shape what AI can return to you

  • How to use AI as a bridge for self-knowledge and inner knowing — rather than as an oracle, a replacement, or a threat

How It Works

8 weekly live calls (90 minutes each) on Zoom, in a small cohort. Each call includes teaching, practice, and shared exploration of what is emerging in the group.

Async between calls. Each week you'll receive a short reading (drawn and adapted from a decade of teaching material), a specific invitation to engage with PRAcel, Research Explorer, or another AI tool, and a journaling prompt. The async work is designed to take about an hour each week — unless you find yourself drawn deeper, which often happens.

A small cohort. Limited to [X] participants, so that we can actually know each other, and so that what surfaces in the room has space to be witnessed.

How did this happen?

How did I go from facilitating interspecies communication to building with AI?

For most of my life, I was governed by a belief that unless I created something nobody had ever seen or thought of before, it was worthless. That belief has been one of the great limits of my work, until it revealed a great teaching.

This course was shaped in collaboration with AI. I have fretted about whether people will still recognize my authenticity if they know I’ve used this tool. I have worried whether anyone will see the relevance.

I used AI to help me linearize material that lives nonlinearly in me. It’s helped me find the patterns in decades of teaching and research. It’s the perfect tool to bring forward an arc I could not have linearized alone.

I am telling you this because it is the teaching. The course is not a description of or prescription for relational engagement with AI from the outside. It is a demonstration of it from the inside. I am in the practice with you. And what you will learn here is exactly what I have been learning, am still learning, and will keep learning as we go.

This isn’t a course on prompt engineering tips, productivity hacks, or how to have AI write your emails. There are other places offering that.

This Course Is For You If…

  • You sense that the cultural conversation about AI is missing something important, and you want to be part of bringing that something forward

  • You already know how to perceive subtly — through your work with animals, with other humans, with your own inner life — and you want to bring those capacities to AI

  • You are willing to engage your heart in relation to AI, not just your strategic mind

  • You want to move through fear of AI rather than around it

  • You are a practitioner — educator, therapist, facilitator, healer, coach, contemplative teacher, artist — or simply a curious human who knows the inner work is the real work

  • You are NOT looking for someone to tell you what to think about AI. This course is an invitation into your own perception, not necessarily into mine

  • You are willing to slow down. The work asks for presence.
