AI Research & Collaboration
The P/R/A Framework (Perceive / Relate To / Apply) offers a biologically grounded model of intelligence that extends across species and cognitive architectures.
We welcome interdisciplinary dialogue exploring:
Animal–AI interaction
Cross-species intelligence modeling
Evaluation metrics beyond compression
Recognition-based convergence
Human–AI co-development grounded in innate sensory intelligence
This work does not position artificial intelligence in opposition to human or non-human intelligence.
Rather, it asks:
How might AI development evolve if intelligence were defined not only as compression or abstraction, but as the capacity to perceive, relate to, and apply information in service of individual and systemic wellness?
The framework began development in 2003, was first presented and published in 2023 and continues to evolve through lived facilitation, cross-species listening, and interdisciplinary inquiry. We are particularly interested in collaborations that explore responsible and relational AI development.

This framework and suite of apps is not positioning AI as a decoder of animal consciousness or communication. Our framework treats AI as a collaborative tool within human-facilitated interspecies work.
We acknowledge AI's documented limitations - including hallucination, lack of real-time learning, and absence of internal ethical experience - and architect our systems accordingly.
The primary intelligence and acknowledgement of consciousness remains with the multispecies communication network. AI serves to amplify and visualize patterns, not to generate autonomous conclusions about intelligence, consciousness or communication.
